Job Summary
An IT and software development company is in need of a Remote Senior SATCOM Field Services Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide technical assistance including troubleshooting and problem resolution support to the customers and field service personnel
- Perform installation of new equipment and systems as required
- Provide systems status, downtime, maintenance issues and other reporting, routinely and as required
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Associate Degree in IT or Engineering Technology or a related science field
- OR fifteen (15) years’ or more experience in a professional capacity as a SATCOM Engineer or equivalent service provider experience
- Prior IT expertise with a minimum ten (10) years of broadband satellite IP service experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Inflatable Satellite Antenna (ISA) Systems
- Prior experience with SATCOM testing equipment and TDMA satellite communications arena
