Job Summary
A fine jewelry retail company has an open position for a Remote Senior SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the Company’s external financial reporting process
- Participate in the Company’s Disclosure Committee
- Ensure compliance with all SEC and GAAP and disclosure requirements
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor or higher degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years technical accounting and reporting experience
- Preferably a CPA, or equivalent qualification, with 7+ years US GAAP experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience researching and documenting accounting guidance
- Experience leading both technical accounting and SEC reporting at a public US company
- Experience with WDesk / Workiva financial reporting software
