Job Summary
A consumer goods company is in need of a Remote Senior Securities and Exchange Commission Financial Reporting Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Support all external financial reporting including SEC filings and press releases, etc
- Assist in the electronic filing of such documents through Workiva filing platform
- Assist with preparing footnote disclosures, earnings release financial tables
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting or finance
- 3 + years experience in Accounting or Finance
- Public accounting experience or experience within publicly traded company
- Must have CPA or contribute to a definite plan to become one over a three to five year horizon
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and ability to research and analyze accounting issues
