Job Summary

A computer and network security company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Security Engineer in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Playing a mission-critical role in supporting incident response, vulnerability identification, and remediation, as well as security control implementation
• Working closely with DevSecOps and SRE teams to build, maintain, and enhance current cloud monitoring and incident response processes and toolsets
• Building proactive security automations aimed at decreasing manual remediation work

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Endpoint Protection Platforms, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
• Proven knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods
• Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
• Experience with disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods
• Experience with planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures
• AWS and cloud platform as a service (PaaS) security experience
