Job Summary
A company that hosts an internet marketplace is in need of a Remote Senior Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Drive security efforts across the company to address security requirements
- Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information security
- Understand, evaluate, and respond to security incidents
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of experience in Information Security space spanning network security
- Experience developing, implementing or creating information security systems
- Strong understanding of VPN, anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
- Experience with design approaches to continuously monitor organization’s networks and systems
- Experience in designing best practices for protecting critical customer data
