Job Summary
An education technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior Security Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Advising on security strategy and secure design
- Acting as the SME for security requirements and solutions on infrastructure and application projects
- Providing expertise on security requirements in system development activities
Skills and Requirements Include:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in IT and information security, 5 of which must be information security
- Knowledge of CIS and/or NIST frameworks
- Ability to provide a balance of strategic planning and tactical execution
- Proven track record building productive relationships with key business leaders
- Strong relationship management experience in influencing and motivating internal functions with minimal direction
- Understanding of security principles with the ability to communicate security concepts to non-technical and technical audiences
