Job Summary
A telecommunications company has an open position for a Remote Senior Security Engineer in Palm Beach Gardens.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Analyze business impact and exposure, based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks
- Recommend & implement information security-related hardware & software, including developing business cases
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the information security strategy
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering
- AND/OR 4-10 years equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of network security: Firewalls - Juniper / Cisco / Checkpoint, VPN & remote access, Certificate based access
- Strong knowledge of network security: Access points, 11x standards, 1x, WEP / WPA(2)
- Strong knowledge of cryptography: Encryption algorithms, Private / public key architecture, Digital signatures
