Job Summary
A hosting service for version control has an open position for a Remote Senior Security Operations Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure security services
- Automating tasks by consuming and building APIs and developing self-service tools and frameworks
- Using metrics and monitoring to ensure the security of our infrastructure
Position Requirements Include:
- Proficiency with the GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Proficiency in at least one high level language such as Ruby, Python, Golang, etc.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or a similar cloud provider
- Familiarity with configuration/orchestration management software
- A tenacious ability to diagnose and fix security, performance and reliability problems
- Pragmatic and collaborative approach to decision making and system design
