Job Summary
An information technology company is seeking a Remote Senior Security Product Back End Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Software engineering WAF-specific features
- Building systems that will be able to handle exponential growth
- Helping to create security controls
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience in the Ruby language, in particular JSON API development and maintenance
- Experience with Rack-based web frameworks (Rails, Sinatra, etc)
- Experience with Ruby testing frameworks (Minitest, RSpec, etc)
- Experience with SQL datastores (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc)
- Working knowledge of Git (and Github), Docker, Vagrant
- Comfortable navigating Unix/Linux systems via command line
