Remote Senior Server Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Remote Senior Server Engineer with expertise in both Windows and Linux environments, who will ensure operational stability, security, and performance of hybrid server infrastructures while participating in modernization initiatives and vulnerability remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, and stability of critical business infrastructure
• Participate in tech-debt activities, including provisioning, upgrading, and modernization initiatives
• Serve as a technical contact for server vulnerability remediation and risk reduction initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server administration and engineering
• Experience with Unix/Linux platforms, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux or AIX
• Demonstrated experience with vulnerability remediation programs in large enterprise environments
• Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
