Job Summary
A health insurance company is seeking a Remote Senior Short Term Disability Claims Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with escalated claims to resolve complex issues for team members and internal customers
- Supporting implementation of updates to the current procedures and assist with new system training
- Reviewing guidelines as well as benefit plan documents and certificates
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED or higher or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of Short-Term Disability Claims experience
- 3+ year of experience in a related environment using phones and computers as the primary job tools
- Proficiency with computers and Windows PC applications
- Ability to work full-time Monday – Friday between 9:00am – 4:00pm EST
