Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building out and automating our world-class infrastructure both on AWS and our Datacenter
- Creating packaging and deployment tools, to allow engineering teams to deploy and maintain their services
- Automating the scaling, monitoring, and resilience of our platform
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience managing, configuring, deploying, monitoring and scaling both MySQL and MongoDB databases
- Well-versed in both MySQL and MongoDB administration
- First-hand exposure to Kafka
- Adept at automation, especially in Bash, Ruby and Python
- Hands-on experience with Chef and Puppet
- Experience as a DBA within a DevOps / SRE team
