Job Summary
An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Deploying and managing automation of cloud-based infrastructure and software
- Working with configuration management tools in both Windows and Linux
- Ensuring cloud-based architectures meet availability and recoverability requirements
Skills and Requirements Include:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 of experience managing AWS infrastructure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with technical operations and software development
- Solid understanding/experience of containerization services such as Docker
- Working knowledge of open source tools such as Sensu, InfluxDB, Grafana, Logstash, Elasticsearch
- Solid understanding of backup/restore best practices
