Job Summary

A software developer is filling a position for a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in complex distributed systems
  • Utilizing monitoring and observation to improve the stability of applications
  • Performing analytics on incidents

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience working in the Microsoft stack
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools such as DataDog or DynaTrace
  • Deep knowledge of message queue software such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or Amazon SQS
  • The ability to write SQL queries and produce useful metrics from relational databases
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent training or experience
  • Well-versed in appropriate testing strategies: (Unit, Integration System, End to End)
