Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving quantitative improvements
- Working closely with product and engineering to prevent, mitigate, and resolve site-affecting issues
- Discovering pain points, and helping resolve them
Qualifications for this position include:
- Solid experience with Golang
- Extensive experience with working on high availability deployments and dealing with performance and reliability issues on APIs
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure providers
- Experience load testing and identifying bottlenecks in cloud infrastructure
- Experience with large-scale or real-time distributed systems
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as DataDog and PagerDuty
