Job Summary

A biotechnology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Account Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing business opportunities and drive sales execution and closing to meet revenue goals
  • Creating the overall sales strategy for MSD VSG in the US North East and Canada East territory
  • Managing the interface between the defined accounts and company's MSD VSG

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 7 years as an account manager selling software that supports scientific innovation
  • Direct experience selling software to senior positions within top Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies
  • Understanding of chemical laboratory processes and methods and regulations in the Pharmaceutical and Biotech sector
  • Ability to interface and build trust with Scientists, as well as Director & VP level business and IT leaders
  • Strong analytical skills including basic financial training
  • Proven track record of successful capture of increasing business from key accounts in private sector & government sectors
