Job Summary
An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Software and System Engineer in Tampa.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Participating in the development of new products within an Agile environment
- Interacting with customers and other project team members to provide expertise and leadership
- Working with the technical team to ensure that software/system engineering standards are adhered to
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- 10 years’ experience working in software/system development using Java and other languages
- Experience in multiple frameworks and microservices/APIs like REST and SOAP
- Experience in technically diverse environments, including experience with a variety of databases
- Thorough understanding of software and system development, methodologies and process flow
- Ability to adapt to new technology, using frameworks and experience to take on new, uncharted territory
