Job Summary

A publishing company is seeking a Remote Senior Software Architect in Columbia.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Formulating & driving major architectural decisions while overseeing Software Engineering solutions with focus on data storage
  • Designing applications and overall system architecture by applying existing and suggesting the new cloud oriented technologies
  • Assisting & mentoring Software Engineers & Software Architects by providing guidance, technical insight & recommendations

Position Requirements Include:

  • 10 years’ experience designing and developing object-oriented Web applications
  • At least 5 years experience using Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in designing scalable, highly available, disaster recoverable, large & robust enterprise applications in Azure or AWS cloud
  • Deep understanding of data models, data transport, and data optimization
  • Experience with integrating heterogeneous systems involving ETL and orchestration
