Job Summary
A web hosting company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Backend Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building best-in-class management and data products in the backend
- Prototyping, Agile Software development, and quality assurance architecture
- Applying development life cycle engagement for design, coding, testing and production release
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of coding experience with JavaScript and at least one common Web framework: Node.js/Express, Sinatra, Flask
- 3+ years' experience building single-page web apps using modern frameworks, e.g. Ember.js, AngularJS, React, etc
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts
- 3+ years' experience developing, optimizing, and deploying scalable, highly performant web applications
- Familiarity with asset pipelines, build tools, testing, continuous integration
- Ability to write clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
