Job Summary

A financial services and technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and building user-friendly data platforms upon which data scientists can easily test and deploy models to production
  • Scoping, designing and building tools for internal users to increase their efficiency ten-fold
  • Improving and maintaining data platform uptime

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience with data pipelines and data warehousing, such as Big Query and Snowflake
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with software engineering development cycles
  • Experience working with backend programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Python)
  • 4+ years total data engineering experience
  • Ability to design and implement customer facing data services and products from end to end
