Job Summary
A software development firm is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Development Cloud Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Write and review technical proposals, architectural diagrams, application code and cloud formation
- Drive the development of critical security components and conduct PoCs for new security technologies to be used
- Use automated and manual testing techniques to find vulnerabilities across our services
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience working with APIs and microservices architectures
- Skills and experience in cloud security engineering, creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation of infrastructure, coding & scripting
- Technical expertise in cloud computing technologies, Cloudformation or Terraform, cloud security tools, and scripting languages
- Experience leading initiatives that have measurably improved the security of cloud environments
- Solid understanding of application and cloud security
- Strong understanding of container and container orchestration best practices using Kubernetes, EKS, ECS etc
