Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Software Development Tester.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Closely collaborating with all other team members and with business stakeholders to develop and execute manual and automated tests with the goal of proactively preventing quality issues
- Creating, coordinating, and supporting delivery activities while looking out for and mitigating risks
- Translating business requirements into test cases
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with Java, Selenium, SQL, Web Services/API Testing (Postman, SoapUI, etc), version control (git, bitbucket, etc)
- Proven strong hands-on experience in developing automation scripts for Web UI, Web Services and APIs
- Demonstrated excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated passion about quality with a fine attention to detail
- 5 years of experience as a software tester in an Agile software development environment with automation experience
- B.S. of Computer Science, CIS, or similar field
