Job Summary

A retail company is in need of a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Research and implement cutting edge technology that can be applied to handle massive scale
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to build scalable services
  • Design, build, and evolve microservices used by company web and mobile applications

Qualifications Include:

  • Strong professional experience and understanding of JavaScript (Node.js)
  • Experience in service oriented and/or microservice architectures
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud providers
  • Experience with message queues, pub-sub systems, and/or event streams
  • Strong professional experience and understanding of data storage, relational (particularly Postgres) and non-relational
  • Have built highly resilient, scalable REST-based services
