Job Summary
An insurance provider is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and deploying solutions independently and as a team member
- Designing and developing major components in our big data pipeline
- Contributing to every stage (and discipline) in the software development life cycle
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Hold a computer science degree or equivalent with a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
- 5+ years experience in software development with 3+ years as a lead/senior developer
- Understand software development best practices, system design, software design patterns, and algorithms
- Past Success at driving technical projects from beginning to end
- Experience defining and influencing technical best practices across a team
