Job Summary
A global insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing leadership in the development of applications for the company
- Delivering key technology solutions in direct alignment with business strategies
- Being responsible for work in all stages of the development lifecycle
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors or equivalent experience
- Generally, 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Continuous learner and open to learning Ruby on Rails to help migrate to Node/React
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS) & architecture patterns (serverless, microservice, API, event-driven)
- Solid programming discipline
- Experience with CI/CD tools and techniques, Containerization (ECS, Docker) & Dev Ops practices
