Job Summary

An insurance and benefits provider is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Actively looking for solutions that are buy over build and are cloud-based
  • Evaluating technical impacts and coordinating implementation of new software releases
  • Ensuring Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience building middleware using Integration platforms
  • 5 years of experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Integration platforms (Mulesoft, IBM Integration Bus “IIB”, WebMethods, or Dell Boomi)
  • Messaging platforms MQ Series and SMS; test-driven development (TDD)
  • Unhappy path testing; and leveraging automation toolsets (Jenkins, Azure Dev/Ops)
