Job Summary

A social media company has an open position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and enhance the company's detection and response capabilities
  • Help the team ensure appropriate monitoring, logging and alerts are in place to support the platform
  • Build automation platforms and enable security engineers

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years software engineering experience, with expertise in software engineering standards
  • Cross team collaboration experience
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical leadership skills
  • Solid experience working with distributed systems
  • Proficiency with object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
