Job Summary

A for-profit genealogy company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading team in evaluation, adoption and governance of a unified monitoring solution that takes the company to the next level
  • Developing solutions integrations with a team of engineers that have skills in React, Nodejs, Java, etc., in AWS container environments
  • Becoming a domain expert and be a go to person for all aspects of monitoring the user experience, internet, micro services, AWS infrastructure

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years experience in designing and implementing microservices via technologies
  • 3+ years experience in AWS Technologies, AWS observability tools and other AWS services
  • 2+ years relational database (MySQL) experience
  • Strong AWS experience (CloudFormation)
  • 2+ years of experience in using and/or implementing observability tools
