Job Summary

A property and casualty insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide support for software products in user environments
  • Lead and participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups
  • Participate in retrospectives to gather feedback and derive actionable items to improve the team and the product

Required Skills:

  • 3 or more years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing software in different programming languages
  • Strong understanding of computer science concepts, object-oriented design principles
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems, operating systems, networking, databases, security, and analytics
  • Hands on experience on modern JavaScript tools such as Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Gulp, NPM, Bower, and similar technologies
