Job Summary

A financial tech development company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Collaborating with the team to deliver working software incrementally
• Optimizing the performance of APIs, database queries, and caching strategies
• Coding for reliability and ensuring adequate unit and integration tests are in place for systems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a software engineer, software developer or similar technical role
• Experience with Java and Spring’s Reactive Stack
• Experience using Linux, Unix and macOS
• Experience implementing secure APIs using GraphQL, or secure RESTful APIs
• Experience using PostgreSQL or another relational database
• Quick problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment
