Job Summary

A technology company that specializes in cybersecurity is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer Compiler.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining and improving a domain specific language compiler codebase and feature set, written primarily in Python
• Soliciting and integrating feedback about design proposals and user needs
• Debugging cross-platform and integration issues, working closely with other teams to ensure safety and reliability

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to take responsibility for their work and are excited to improve performance and user experience
• Willingness to dive into a complicated code base where changes require careful attention and puzzle solving
• Have a demonstrated interest in compilers and how they work
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts
• Ability to program computers and ability to demonstrate that capability, be it through job experience, schoolwork, or contributions to community projects
• Experience in analysis and implementation of data structures, algorithms, and software design
