Job Summary
A content delivery network and cloud service provider has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Engineer II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing, Developing, integrating, and enhancing, new and existing web applications
- Using AWS GovCloud and Infrastructure as Code tools to deploy applications
- Collaborating with partner organizations to jointly design, develop, and deploy software
Qualifications for this position include:
- Have extensive experience working in a Linux/UNIX environment
- Be knowledgeable of internet protocols such as TCP/UDP, HTTP, TLS, and DNS
- eligible to obtain a security clearance
- Have experience implementing scalable software with at least one of the following: Python, C/C++, Java, NodeJS, Golang, or Ruby
- 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or another related field, or its equivalent
- Be able to gather customer needs and create engineering requirements that satisfy security and scalability concerns
