Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Software Engineer in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Propose architectural and code design changes
  • Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code
  • Refactor high tech-debt areas of the system

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing full stack web applications
  • Familiarity with formal code smells and refactoring techniques
  • Computer science knowledge with an understanding of OOP design principles
  • Can identify critical business issues to prioritize from multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with React, Ruby on Rails, AWS, or similar technologies/languages
