Job Summary
A communications software development company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Participate in development and maintenance of the OpenTok SDK code base
- Contribute to software architecture for real-time media streaming and quality optimizations.
- Engage in all aspects of the software development life-cycle, including research-oriented exploratory programming, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and data-driven impact analysis
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4+ years professional experience as full-time software engineer
- Understanding of common challenges with mobile/embedded devices, including power management, resource optimization, and wireless network reliability
- Client-server architectures, algorithms, thread and memory management systems, and data pipeline optimization
