Job Summary
A computer networking hardware and software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Software Engineer in San Jose.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Helping us design, build and operate the systems and APIs
- Working closely with other software and infrastructure engineering teams
- Helping to improve the continuous integration and deployment pipelines while also working on a globally distributed infrastructure that operates at scale
Position Requirements Include:
- Understanding the importance of collaboration to find the best solution
- Having knowledge of Linux, VxLAN, CI/CD, a network router or GRE
- Being eager to work in a DevOps environment
- Being passionate about automating all steps between development and production
- Expecting failure and letting your software automatically deal with it
- Working in a multi-functional team that owns the entire stack
