Job Summary
A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Software Engineering Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Driving the execution & delivery of features by collaborating with many cross functional teams, architects, product owners & engineer
- Making critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product
- Being proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving them before they happen
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Masters / Bachelors degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience leading software engineering teams with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be nimble, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications
- Experience with short release cycles, full software lifecycle & working on a product that’s been released for public consumption
- Experience in hiring, mentoring and managing engineers
