We are looking for a highly motivated and capable Software Product Manager to shape and lead our software and digital transformation.

Digital continues to be an important area of growth and on-going investment for Agilent. As the Sr. Software Product Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination, alignment and harmonization of Software Product Roadmaps across LSAG in order to achieve a differentiated LSAG-wide digital lab strategy. Using your extensive life sciences software and instrumentation product knowledge you will enjoy the freedom to champion innovative design concepts and strategize feature development and product roadmap scenarios.

In this new role, you will be a key member of the LSAG Product and Platform Office with direct access and visibility to the Marketing leadership team across the business. You will collaborate with leaders from R&D, Marketing and Digital to create a framework that will guide project teams to investigate and drive the development of new software products, processes, and technologies for customers in the analytical laboratory space. As a recognized authority in your field, high-level managers will look to you for consultancy on the product life cycle of multiple products and organizationally complex programs across functions and divisions.

Responsibilities:
As the Sr. Software Product Manager, in close collaboration with the individual product line Software Product Managers, you will oversee and define the software product lifecycle from beginning to end, including feature priority management, requirements and use cases, beta/early field-testing, launch and release process
As a key technical contributor, you will understand, define and prioritize software product requirements in coordination with divisional Software Product Managers, and will assess market competition in the areas of digital technologies, Cloud and SaaS for customers in the analytical laboratory space
As a key partner in the Digital Lab initiative, you will collaborate on Software Architecture Roadmaps in alignment with cross-divisional stakeholders with a natural ability to communicate the vision to various audiences and serve as a chief advocate for the LSAG Software Target Architecture on various steering committees and digital programs and initiatives
