Job Summary

A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Expanding the company's platform capabilities of its analytic database engine
  • Identifying security risks associated with our test environment
  • Utilizing Linux to participate in the continual improvement of QA automation and test tooling

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • BS in Computer Science or related academic field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of experience working in the software development industry as a Test Engineer
  • Programming experience in one or more languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, Shell/BASH, C/C++, C#)
  • Basic Network (TCP/IP) experience
  • Experience testing hosted applications, preferably stateful apps
  • Design and implementation experience using security-focused tools and services
