Job Summary
A software development company is in need of a Remote Senior Software Support Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading and participating in customer-facing calls
- Performing triage, root cause analysis, and debugging
- Communicating progress updates
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in support, software services, and/or system administration
- Deep understanding of operating systems (e.g. Linux, OS X, and/or Windows)
- Understanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, JBoss, etc)
- Deep understanding of networks and relevant technologies
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience in critical issue handling
