Job Summary

A software development company is in need of a Remote Senior Software Support Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading and participating in customer-facing calls
  • Performing triage, root cause analysis, and debugging
  • Communicating progress updates

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5+ years of experience in support, software services, and/or system administration
  • Deep understanding of operating systems (e.g. Linux, OS X, and/or Windows)
  • Understanding of application server technologies (e.g. Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere, JBoss, etc)
  • Deep understanding of networks and relevant technologies
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience in critical issue handling
