Job Summary

A data technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior SQL Data Engineer in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Functioning as a subject matter expert to other database developer groups
  • Designing, developing and optimizing large, complex DB schemas, SQL scripts and objects
  • Leveraging analytic tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition

Required Skills:

  • Possible travel up to 25% (post covid)
  • Experience with relational SQL databases
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, etc
  • Experience with implementing software and/or solutions in the enterprise Linux or Unix environments
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
  • Excellent analytic skills associated with working on structured and unstructured datasets
