Job Summary

A financial technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior SQL Database Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing strategic engineering leadership to drive technology improvements.
• Building, migrating, and maintaining Azure SQL Databases, Azure SQL Managed Instances, and SQL on Virtual Machines
• Taking ownership of projects to ensure successful implementation

Qualifications Include:

• Expert level knowledge of SQL Server database management systems (2017+)
• Expert level knowledge SQL performance and tuning
• Extensive knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and Automation
• Knowledge of database encryption such as Always Encrypted, TDE, and TLS
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure SQL PaaS platforms
• Thorough SQL database design, management, and analysis skills
