Job Summary
A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Senior SQL Database Administrator.
Must be able to:
- Understand business and technical objectives of the customer
- Design scalable and highly available solutions that leverage cloud (Azure, AWS) native services
- Perform Well Architected Reviews (WAR) of customer's SQL environments hosted in the public cloud
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced T-SQL skills
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using SQL native, and cloud native tools
- Expert knowledge of DMVs, System Stored Procedures, User Defined Functions, and Custom Types
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server's "AlwaysOn" Availability Group
- Expert understanding of SQL Server security at both server and database levels
