Job Summary
A company that provides custom-designed training solutions is seeking a Remote Senior Staff Accountant.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close procedures to include journal entries and account analysis
- Submit necessary monthly reports and backup to corporate officers and other management
- Monitor bank activity for multiple accounts on a daily basis, including posting of cash receipts
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four year college
- 5+ years of demonstrated accounting/finance and business experience
- Experience as a staff accountant with the Department of Defense, or prior employment as a staff accountant
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Hands-on experience using Deltek Costpoint.
- Working knowledge of federal government accounting regulations
