Job Summary

A mortgage company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Staff Accountant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Processing recurring and one-time monthly close tasks
• Assisting Accounting Manager with bonus memo audit and review, and review of month-end journal entries
• Assisting Accounting Manager with testing and implementation of programming enhancements and fixes

Required Skills:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Thorough understanding of accounting
• Possess attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management, organization, analytical and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills and ability to propose solutions to problems
