Job Summary

A genetics and biology technology developer is in need of a Remote Senior Staff Interaction Designer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing creative solutions for desktop, web, & mobile applications
• Developing high level and detailed storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes
• Collaborating with technical leads to negotiate design requirements and play an active role in design iterations

Qualifications Include:

• 10 + years of experience in Interaction Design with emphasis on desktop, web, and mobile product design
• Advanced experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of user centered design process, methodology, and UI design best practices
• Excellent analytical ability, especially with regard to understanding user behavior and design theories
• Demonstrated experience with turning customer insights into interaction designs
• Knowledge of the software development process and ability to communicate well with software development teams
