Job Summary
A space technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior Staff Software Development Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop frontend and backend software for a large-scale command and telemetry system
- Document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, and system interfaces
- Share your knowledge as you help grow your fellow software engineer team members.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or 4 additional years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience
- Strong functional and/or object-oriented programming experience, including using Python 3
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab)
- Experience building complex software systems and REST API interfaces on AWS
