Job Summary
A college has an open position for a Remote Senior State Nursing Licensing and Regulation Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the processes for approval of state boards of nursing of campus programs
- Assessing standards of employee qualifications for new and established campuses
- Monitoring fair and equitable application of student and academic policies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to travel as needed
- Master’s degree in nursing
- Five years of teaching and/or management experience in a higher education setting
- Experience with assessment, accreditation and regulatory approval processes
- Demonstrated ability to establish and develop positive relationships with state agency personnel
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess state requirements that may not be explicit
