Job Summary

A company that collects data and does data analysis is filling a position for a Remote Senior Statistical Analyst.

Must be able to:

  • Use analytics to translate business questions into actionable solutions
  • Lead project to define and implement a new Hadoop infrastructure based on company needs
  • Develop processes to ingest, cleanse, normalize, and validate various forms of data

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Advanced degree in a highly-relevant analytical or technical field
  • 5 years of work experience in a data-driven environment
  • Experience with SAS Analytics Pro, SAS/Enterprise Miner, and SAS/Visual Analytics
  • Experience with other programming languages such as R or Python
  • Experience with load and extract data from relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with data processing and analytics using a Hadoop stack
