Job Summary

An IT service provider has an open position for a Remote Senior Storage Consultant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing technical support and deployment engineering services
  • Troubleshooting deployment issues and finding solutions to these issues
  • Responding to incoming calls, chat, and web-based inquiries as the deployment continues

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Limited travel to the Washington DC metro area
  • 5+ years with the deployment and support of CEPH Gluster and related container storage products
  • 7+ years of experience as a deployment or development engineer on Linux
  • Experience with Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance
  • Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills; passion for problem solving and investigation
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or other Linux certification
