A provider of video management and streaming software is in need of a Remote Senior Sustaining Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Debugging, diagnosing, and documenting the root cause of technical issues
- Developing software patches and new features
- Identifying opportunities for optimizations that improve application performance
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years experience in an application support or a sustaining engineering role
- Extensive experience as a customer-facing engineer for a B2B software company
- Intermediate-level UNIX/Linux skills
- Intermediate-level Java skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging and log-analysis skills
- Exceptional software-development habits
